Here at Our Kids Place Hewlett, we believe that children need a warm, comfortable environment to grow both emotionally and intellectually. Our Kids Place has been providing the Rosedale community with quality childcare services for the past twenty years. We have recently expanded into the Hewlett-Woodmere community. Our warm atmosphere allows teachers to motivate and nurture the students in our care. We know that the most important aspect of early childhood education is to create an environment in which children can solve problems, make discoveries, and think independently. This is why we have worked so hard in creating an environment that is conducive to healthy learning for our students. We encourage you to join our growing family and make Our Kids Place your kids’ place.
UPK Information
The Universal Pre-Kindergarten program is a full-day program (9:00 to 2:00 am) supported by New York State and the school district for all children eligible for Kindergarten the following September and live in districts 14 and 24. Students attend 5 days per week. Parents who need extended hours can participate in the Extended Day Programs, which will allow the student to come in all hours that school is open (7:00 am to 6:00 pm) as well as during holidays when UPK is closed. There are three different paid programs, please call the office for more information.
